     You are my Prince at dawn

     King at noon Emperor at night

     you quench my fire all night.

     You are the spring of romance

     my summer solace

     my autumnal caress

     my winter’s grace.

     You cause me misery

     my poetic fury

     you are my boon to life.

     You keep off vamps

     with your impish tramps

     your charms keep me in trance.

     You are the judge and jury

     but I never plead guilty

     Your judgment is reserved

     and my pleading incomplete.
